Requirements for sustainability in suppliers

Ensuring sustainability throughout the entire value chain is important to SIAS Contract. We work actively with our partners and demand that their operations meet the same requirements for sustainability that we strive for ourselves.

Energy efficient production

For a manufacturer like SIAS Contract, it is important to both reduce energy consumption in general and to increase the proportion of renewable energy. Active work is carried out in these areas; both from an environmental perspective and with regard to cost efficiency. The group's production facilities have been updated with modern systems to reduce energy consumption and increase the efficiency of the resources used.

Transport

A significant part of SIAS Contract's indirect emissions comes from transport to and from the production facilities. We work actively to reduce emissions while ensuring efficient transport. SIAS Contract's local presence and proximity to the production facilities reduce freight transport and costs for our customers. We take advantage of the opportunity to buy and produce locally and thus minimize our footprint.

Sias Contract's employees must contribute to a healthy and safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues. It is expected that everyone performs their work in a safe manner, follows instructions and routines and reports any risks and incidents that occur that do not comply with the current code of conduct.

The overall responsibility for the working environment rests with the CEO. In each company in the group, the general manager is responsible.
